Probably the most famous Fattoria di Felsina Chianti Classico, awarded by the most important wine critics in Italy and abroad. A pigeon blood ruby vintage with smells of dried plums, black cherry jam and blackberry balanced with sweet violet and Thea rose notes, and hints of dark leather and brown tobacco. You can feel immediately the youth of this 2017 vintage, with wood tannins maybe still astringent and a certain austere appearance. Anyway, due to its freshness and juiciness, you can already figure how this vintage will evolve.
